Patio Wall Planter
Looking for a simple yet cute planter idea? Get those plants on a wall! Say hello to my new succulent babies! Now let’s see if I can keep them alive. Anyone else feel that way? Keeping a tiny human alive? Got it. Keeping a dog alive? Of course. Plants? Not so sure about that.
I added three small pots to my patio to liven it up a bit! They were easy to install! The best part is, the wall mounted rings and pots cost me less than $20!
I found a pack of three 4-inch wall mount rings here on Amazon. They came with screws so you’ll just need a drill and a screwdriver to install them. As you can see I drilled them into a wood support beam but you might want to add anchors if you’re not drilling directly into wood. They also come in a pack of six if you’re looking for more or there’s an 8-inch version as well! I’ve seen the same product at Home Depot as well Amazon was by far cheaper and they arrived quickly! Here they are from Home Depot if you’re looking to get your project done today.
Home Depot had the best price here for 4.5-inch terra cotta pots, under one dollar each. The 4.5-inch measurement is the outside of the pot so it will fit perfectly inside the 4-inch rings.
I found the succulents in the garden section at Home Depot, the label said they were 2.5″ succulents. I’m sure they’ll outgrow the pots they are currently in but I have an even better way to display them when that happens! Stay tuned!
